General Information

Description

We are preparing GIS data (of many types) for Tryon Creek and Columbia Slough watersheds. Lewis & Clark students will use the data for a class. The census data will likely be made available to the public.

Purpose and goal of the project

  1. Create a set of shapefiles clipped from RLIS data for each watershed
  2. Find additional datasets from the Oregon geospatial site
  3. Extract NLCD and Lidar data for the areas surrounding the watersheds
  4. Gather census data from 1940-2000 for tracts within the watersheds
  5. Ensure all data are projected the same way
