General Information
Description
We are preparing GIS data (of many types) for Tryon Creek and Columbia Slough watersheds. Lewis & Clark students will use the data for a class. The census data will likely be made available to the public.Purpose and goal of the project
- Create a set of shapefiles clipped from RLIS data for each watershed
- Find additional datasets from the Oregon geospatial site
- Extract NLCD and Lidar data for the areas surrounding the watersheds
- Gather census data from 1940-2000 for tracts within the watersheds
- Ensure all data are projected the same way
